Hi friend,
If you're anything like me you've spend the last almost two years watching with horror as genocide in Gaza unfolds and intensifies, while our governments do nothing to stop it (and in many cases actually continue supporting it).
I've written countless letters to my MP, spread awareness within my circle of influence, signed petitions, read books to educate myself (I highly recommend Genocide Bad by Sim Kern, by the way - or One Day Everyone Will Have Always Been Against This by Omar El Akkad), participated in almost every national march for Palestine, and donated to mutual aid funds on the ground whenever I could.
Nothing seems enough, and the horror persist - but we have to keep going, keep pushing, keep raising our voices, keep raising funds to help those who are still alive, stay alive.
I would want someone to do all of the above if it was me and my kids - and to preserve what's left of our collective humanity.
This is where you come in.
Over the next two weeks, between 18 and 31 July, I'm participating in a print sale fundraiser to raise urgent funds for humanitarian aid in Gaza.
All funds will go directly to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF) and The Refaat Alareer Camp run by The Sameer Project - an organisation run by Palestinians in the diaspora working to provide aid to displaced families in Gaza.
Each photographic print is £25, sized at 6 x 9 inches, and printed on Mohawk Eggshell 324gsm archival paper — a beautiful, thick stock with a soft, textured finish and certified archival quality. There are beautiful prints to choose from by a number of very talented photographers from many corners of the world - I'm sure there will be something for everyone.
If you can’t buy, please share with friends, family and your networks — it makes a huge difference.
